KAJANG: Police busted an ecstasy pills lab in Bandar Mahkota Cheras here and arrested three local man, their Vietnamese girlfriend and seized a gun on Friday.
The three male suspects aged from 27 to 57 from Penang had rented a
house for about a year and had been producing and peddling the drug for
the local market since the past six months.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner Ab Rashid Ab Wahab said
they were tipped off by the public and launched a raid at 2pm.
"Total drugs seized, including 618 ecstasy pills and 54.57g ketamine at RM50,000,
"Other finds were drug-processing peripherals, and a .45mm pistol, but no bullets," Rashid said today.
The 22-year old Vietnamese woman has valid travel documents, he said,
adding that all were remanded for six days until Thursday.
Among ingredient to make ecstasy pills found were rat poison and milk powder.
