KUALA LUMPUR: A 43-year-old man diagnosed with down syndrome has been missing since he left his home last Friday.
The missing man C. Prosothuman was believed to have gone to a temple,
located near his home in Taman Jelok Indah, Sungai Jelok in Kajang at
about 4.30pm on Friday and he has not been seen since.
His younger brother Tamil Selvan, 36, said his brother usually went
for prayers at the temple every Friday but it was the first time that he
has not returned.
“He left without taking his MyKad or his disabled card.
“I am very worried and hope the authorities and the public can assist in locating him,” he said when contacted on Wednesday.
He has since lodged a report at the Kajang police station.
“Despite being a Down Syndrome patient, my brother always had good sense of direction and bearings.
“He never failed to return home from the temple and the family is very worried about him,” he said.
