KAJANG: A man related to a former Hulu Langat MIC youth leader was
seriously wounded in a gang-related shooting near a traffic light along
Jalan Reko here.
In Monday's incident, it is learnt that two men on a motorcycle had
pulled alongside the victim's Honda Accord at around 12.50pm and fired
six shots at him.
The victim, in his 30s, was sent by family members to a nearby hospital where he had been admitted.
Selangor CPO Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Samah Mat confirmed the
incident, saying that the case has been classified as attempted murder
under Section 307 of the Penal Code.
However, police have declined to say which gangs could be involved in the shooting.
