Ignored caller breaks in, rapes woman in Kajang

A woman home alone was tied up and raped by an intruder at knifepoint a little before noon in Kajang Utama, Selangor. 

It is believed the man had rang the doorbell several times before he broke into the house through the roof at about 11.30am, reported The Star Online today. 

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Willey Richard said: "The victim was in her room when she heard a person ringing the doorbell several times, but she chose to ignore it as she did not know who the person was. 

"Five minutes later, the victim was shocked to see the man in her room. He tied her hands behind her back before raping her," he said. 

He robbed the woman of three rings, five necklaces, earrings, a handphone and RM70 before leaving. He had told a security guard at the residential scheme that that he was there to repair a telephone line. 

Police have released a photofit of the suspect, who is described as aged between 28 and 30, tall and tanned, and wearing grey pants and T-shirt at the time of the incident. – August 18, 2015.
